Recipe for Basler Schoggitorf
A wonderful chocolate cake according to a Swiss recipe, which is prepared with Swiss chocolate. The Basel Schoggitorf is a delicious dessert and is also suitable as a gift from the kitchen.
Portionen: 16 Pieces
- 200 g dark Swiss chocolate
- 75 g butter soft
- 100 g sugar
- 3 eggs separated
- 1 pinch salt
- 75 g flour
- ¼ TL baking powder
Grease the baking tin and dust with flour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt them together with the butter over a water bath.
Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks together with the sugar. Stir the chocolate into the mixture. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.
Mix the flour with the baking powder. Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.Pour the mixture into the previously prepared mould.
Bake for approx. 25 minutes. Allow to cool on a cake rack and then cut into squares.
